Orange County Fair 2008

The Summer of 2008 allowed Southland to play somewhere new and that was at our local fairs. We first played down at San Diego Fair's Gospel Fest (look for a post on that soon) and then at the Orange County Fair. Here we performed on an absolutely terrific stage in the Plaza Arts area. Lots of tables for people to sit down and eat while enjoying our music.

Here is a small view of how the tables were set up, along with a few of our fabulous fans. Mrs. Dee Dee C. (orange top) has been faithfully following Southland since she was only 12 years old! This day she brought along her four beautiful children. It is wonderful to see generations enjoying the music we put out.

Here we have Roy (Rhythm Guitar), Kevin (Drums), Rex (Bass) and Wayne (Vocals/Guitar) up on the Plaza Stage.

Kevin was able to enjoy one of our youngest fans.

A couple of our younger fans wanted to get up close and personal while we played.
